I don't intend to wax philosophical on this blog.  I'm going to keep it short and sweet, so I won't take up much of your time.  I'll throw out a few things I'd like you to think about, and you can take it for what it's worth.

The most important thing I have to say to you today is:  REGISTER TO VOTE.  If you are registered, CONFIRM YOUR REGISTRATION.  State registration deadlines begin closing as of October 3, so depending on what state you live in, you might need to get cracking.  If you have been removed from the voter rolls for some reason, you best straighten it out now.  Speaking from personal experience, you don't want to show up at your polling place only to be sent home because your name isn't on the voter registration list.

The best thing you can do for this country we all love is to encourage everyone you know to register to vote.  And you better show up to vote, honey, or Granny will snatch you bald headed.
