Sermon from a Liar

For quite some time I've been downstream from a serial lie pier we'll call "Bud." Judging from the ugly election lie pies Bud likes to send to folks, he has deeply ingrained political opinions, a compulsive need to spew those opinions without invitation, and a complete disregard for factual accuracy. Your granny doesn't have much use for him. Fact is, I'd like to turn him over my knee.

Bud's detestable election lie pies have kept us pretty busy in the Lie Piebrary. He has passed along some of the most loathsome, obnoxious lies about Barack Obama we've received at LiePie.com. We have Bud to thank for "Obama's Not Exactly's," "U.S. Economic Collapse the Fault of the Democrats", "George Bush's Mistake", "Barack Obama in his own Words", "Obama = Zero", and "Proposed Changes in Taxes after 2008 General Election."

Despite not adhering to the commandment, "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor," Bud apparently fancies himself to be a God-fearing man. After sending out one lie after another for months, he recently admonished us all to "open this in the morning to start your day." I might not take issue with the message, but I certainly take issue with the messenger:

Daily Rules from God

5. Look Up!!... To the Lord.
'I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me.' Phillippians 4:13

6. Reach Up!!... For something higher. 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, And He will direct your path.'

7. Lift Up!!... Your Prayers.
'Do not worry about anything; instead PRAY ABOUT EVERYTHING.'
