Editor's note:  I'm calling this a lie pie.  As I've stated before, my standard is "bearing false witness." I don't see how anyone could stand before the Almighty and testify that Obama has only had 143 days of "experience."  He has been a teacher, a lawyer, a state legislator and a U.S. Senator in addition to his years of noble service to our country helping folks register to vote and become active participants in our democracy.  Obama meets all the requirements to be president according to the Constitution of the United States, Article II, Section 1, Clause 5. That's the end of it.

Now, if you want to take issue with me for calling this viral email a lie pie, I am accepting complaints at this time. However, I do have one stipulation:  I don't want to hear a peep out of you if you supported Bush over McCain in the 2000 Republican primary. If "experience" didn't matter to you in 2000, don't tell me it matters to you now.  You are full of prunes. --Granny

Just 143 days...........

Would any one of you go along "for the ride" if an airline captain had 143
days of ground school, a ship commander with 143 days of school, a doctor
with 143 days of med school, and attorney with 143 days of law school, a
dentist with 143 days of dental school???? Where in the hell is this
country going...nuts?

Just how much Senate experience does Barack Obama have in terms of actual work days? Not much.

From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the
time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory
committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate. That's how many
days the Senate was actually in session and working.


After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be
Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World, and fill the shoes of
Abraham Lincoln, FDR, JFK and Ronald Reagan.

143 days -- I keep leftovers in my refrigerator longer than that
