Editor's Note:   I'm a little weary of these lying, self-righteous attacks on President Obama.  They are just endless, and every one is more ridiculous than the one before.  This one starts out by calling the President of the United States a "poor dumb S.O.B." and a "guy who has no respect for our country."  I'll tell you who the poor dumb S.O.B.'s with no respect for our country are:  the people who forward this kind of B.S. about the President of the United States without first checking it for accuracy.  That's just the sorry truth, honey.  Here are the facts about this contemptible viral email:

This photo was snapped just as President Obama arrived on the stage during the playing of "Hail to the Chief" at a Memorial Day service at Arlington on May 25, 2009.  The military personnel pictured are saluting their Commander in Chief, and the civilian is showing his respect for the President by placing his hand over his heart.  You can read more at TruthorFiction.com--they did a great job on this one.  You can also find it at Snopes.com and Factcheck.org.  Whoever decided to misrepresent this photo in an email as an image of Obama during the playing of the National Anthem is a filthy liar, and he knew there are enough Obama-hating fools out there to keep it circulating.  That is a sad commentary on our electorate, and we should all be ashamed.  Our proud country deserves better.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again:  if you need to lie to win, then you must not believe your case can win on its own merit.  All you folks who don't like Obama need to focus on legitimate criticisms instead of these smart-alecky lies you keep passing around.  If you don't watch it, you just might snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory in November.  The reason Obama is President is because loads of folks voted for him, and if you get them riled up with all this petty B.S. you keep spreading around, they are going to come out to vote and crush you at the polls again.  You are going to shoot yourself in the foot if you aren't careful.  --Granny, 6/5/2010

You know, the United States of America?

I do believe that saluting the flag goes with that, and also to honor the servicemen who died, or is he above that?

Shower us all with flowery words and dazzle us with his B.S.

But, actions speak louder.  This stinks.
